Wednesday 19th December was the date set for our Festival of Carols in 2007 which took place at the beautifully refurbished St. Thomas' Roman Catholic Church. An offering of £3400 was received for the charity Family Nursing & Home Care from over 700 islanders in the packed church. The 700 hymn sheets ran out at 7.30pm and after that it was standing room only as the audience continued to expand until 8pm when the choir's patron, the Lieutenant-Governor, Lieutenant-General Andrew Ridgeway and Mrs. Ridgeway arrived to start the event.

The combination of the Jersey Festival Choir, Holmchase Singers (conducted by Amy Luce) and Premier Brass (conducted by Tim Pritchard) produced a particularly special concert as two of the stalwarts of the event over the years bowed out of their respective roles; Sue de Gruchy as Conductor for the Festival Choir and Amy Luce as Conductor for the Holmchase Singers.
